* Problem sentences
1. I gave the dog food. I gave the dog much food.
The second sentence is not analyzed at all. If the two sentences
are given to the SRL independently, the arguments are correctly
identified.
2. I gave the dog food. I gave the dog a lot of food.
The second gave is identified as an AM-MOD. When the second
sentence is given alone, this doesn't happen.
3. "I gave the dog food. " vs. "I gave the dog a lot of food."
The first sentence is analyzed incorrectly. Can this be fixed
using proper subcategorization or maybe with the correct sense of
the predicate?
* Nom SRL predicates
We need a better way to pick NOM SRL predicates. Try the following
sentences:
1. His thought was that the building is falling.
/thought/ is missed because the POS tagger does not identify it
as a noun.
